For better or worse....AND JAIL????

I was listening to the Tom Joyner Morning Show this morning and they had an interesting topic going. They were asking listeners to call in if they were dating or married to someone in prison.
Okay here's my question to anyone out there:
1. Would you stick by your mate if they had a life sentence or in prison for a long time?
2. If your answer is yes...what would make you stay?
3. At what point would you sever the relationship? _________________ T. Webb

It seriously depends on what she has been accused and if she did it.
If she committed cold-blooded murder and was a pyscho I would be gone. _________________ Read "A Liar's Tale" and "Blackbirds: Volume 1."

i would probably divorce her at that point - no one has the right to expect someone to stay with them during 20 years of incarceration. _________________ Read "A Liar's Tale" and "Blackbirds: Volume 1."

I agree. So what do you think about women marrying men that are incarcerated? I've never heard of a man marrying a woman that's incarcerated. I'm sure there's some obvious reasons for that. loll Now I'm wondering if men are indeed smarter than women regarding this subject! lol _________________ T. Webb

Women marrying men who are incarcerated is a big mistake. You really need to spend a lot of time with somebody before it becomes forever.
How can you spend time with someone doing 10-20?
Men won't marry women who are behind bars probably because on average men don't like to write letters, and that is what the relationship would be built around. _________________ Read "A Liar's Tale" and "Blackbirds: Volume 1."

Some people may view getting to know someone through visiting days and letters is a great way to get to know someone...which doesn't include me...just to let you know! lol
Also, I'm sure that most men wouldn't be with a woman that's in jail because I'm not sure how faithful they would be...not if they met them under them circumstances...women I think would stay faithful longer...but definitely not forever! Just keeping it real! _________________ T. Webb

That makes sense ... Hey I know I could not do it. Jail sentences end relationships. _________________ Read "A Liar's Tale" and "Blackbirds: Volume 1."
