Okay my sister book clubs....My book club is wanting to plan a literary event probably either at the end of next year or the following year. Our book club help to support new authors so it will probably be some type of event supporting them in some way.
I would like to have some tips from any of the book clubs that has ever planned a literary event.
1. How much time do you need to have to plan out an event, including organizing everythng and setting up the event itself?
2. How do you advertise your event? How far ahead do you start advertising?
3. How much money do you project towards your event?
4. How soon do you try to confirm speakers/authors?
